The Gerst program aims at fostering an understanding of the central importance of freedom for democratic government, moral responsibility, and economic and cultural life.
Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity and Gender in the Social Sciences (REGSS)
REGSS is an interdisciplinary center within the social sciences where scholars engaged in research in these areas can come together and engage each other through collaborative research, lectures, outside speakers, graduate student fellows, and visiting scholars.
The Program for the Study of Democracy, Institutions, and Political Economy (DIPE)
DIPE seeks to encourage intellectual interchange within the Department, with other political scientists, and with members of cognate disciplines such as economics, history and sociology.
