Admissions

 

 

December 31, is the postmark deadline for receipt of applications for Fall matriculation.  Our Admissions Committee begins reviewing applications as soon after January 15th as we are able; offers go out on or about the middle of February.  Our orientation begins in early August two weeks before classes begin.  Please be advised it is mandatory for all new students to attend our Orientation program.

The Graduate School’s Enrollment Services Office prefers to receive applications online, as the student information system uses the online information to create the student file. http://www.gradschool.duke.edu/admissions/

 

 

 

WRITING SAMPLE

 

We are very interested in Writing Samples.

 While The Graduate School does not require Writing Samples, the Political Science Department finds them very helpful. The sample doesn't have to be long (10-20 pages), but it should represent your writing and thought.  Please send your sample, on 8½ x 11 inch paper, to:
